DIY HEADBANDS
Hey world! I made really cool headbands with hot glue, sea findings, and naked headbands. I'm going to show you the radness! (Yes I'm using a cheesey exclamation point).
I'm wearing a white lace forever 21 dress that I actually got from a thrift shop (score). I have on my holographic creepers that I found and bought somewhere deep in the internet!
Again, I'm only wearing mascara...
look! It has a fancy collar thing!
dresscode.
The reason why in the last post my hair is purple and here it's red is that I dyed it today. I was trying to go for a Van Gogh look or an Amelia Pond kind of vibe. I didn't want my hair to be "um, you got some of your victims blood in your hair" red but I also didn't want "oh, so you want to be a clown when you grow up" red. I wanted to look like a natural red head but that may be an act of betrayal towards the gingers... sorry.
This crown's colour (I'm from America) scheme is an orangey/brown kind of thing and the crown is made of shells and 2 pieces of sea glass. All of these sea findings are from my mom's deployment to GTMO when she would take walks on the beach. She has JARS AND JARS OF THIS STUFF.
This was an accident but it looks cool.
And this is the seashell crown in all of its glory.
And here is my other headband:
It's made from sea glass and two silver beads that are shaped like stars. IT IS VERY VERY HEAVY especially with the glass and all of the hot glue. Two layers front and back. I burnt myself for this headband. It took effort.
It looks good with my hair color now because green and red are opposite colors on the color scale.
[left] This is my cream colored button up blouse that reminds me of pilgrims and [right] my tacky skirt. I realize that it's kinda short. that's why you wear shorts under it (dorp).
I'm wearing geometric cut out, black combat boots.
yeah I blinked.
I feel aesthetic.
Okay well there are my seapunk crowns with my plants in the background. Tumblr would abuse these photos. wouldn't they?
