everything was beautiful and nothing hurt

 So high school has officially started and for some reason I'm not feeling a deep contempt for the entire school system. It's actually been pretty fun so far. 

I also went thrift shopping and got my first pair of Nike's so now I'm a cool kid.

They were $10 and my heart broke when I saw them. Angels sang and God came down from the heavens and sent me these beautiful creatures. 

I've been wearing them every single day for about a week (since I've got them).

The local high school in my neighborhood is literally in my neighborhood. It's 20 seconds away walking distance for my suburban world (my house). There are candy wrappers littered across the entire campus so I took an aesthetic tumblr photo because I'm a product of my generation. I'm also pretty lame. 

I got a Sonic Youth/Pulp Fiction mashup shirt. Goo is one of my favorite SY albums and the whole parody thing with Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega is super pretty. It's my favorite t-shirt at the moment.

I also recently read the anti-war book "Slaughterhouse 5" and it's not an emo book or a book about how to be vegan. It's by Kurt Vonnegut and he's talking about humanity and how mankind are affecting everything through war and visions. 

You can read it here I guess for free. That's how I did it.

The book is really controversial so please don't get offended by it. It's almost like a Ray Bradbury book but it has a touch of the darkness in humanity.

You'll either hate it or love it. You also may be confused, but trust me - it's phenomenal.

And the best day out of the days of high school so far (I hate being a freshman) is when my friends got married.
