I know that i start out every post with "sorry I haven't posted lately" but I mean it. Sorry. I've had a lot on my plate because I'm in high school (yuck) but I've made some new friends.
Any who, this post is going to be about my room at my dad's house and a few updates. I've decorated it to perfection. Well, to me it is. I tried to go for "on the set of a teenage movie" and "disheveled museum." Also, when I was obsessed with early Tavi Gevinson, she used to post pictures of the hollows of her cabinets after she turned them into shrines.
Brilliant.
I kinda did that? You'll see. I also found a few vintage items that will be featured below.
Cool beans, let's start.
View of a vintage 80s science text book that I stole from my dad.
I collect little plastic items and stick them in boxes that I find from the thrift shop so that's what this is.
Animals, figures, hair clips.
Mini soldiers, artificial bugs, dinos.
An old mirror/grief thingy from my mom. There's a picture of someone I don't particularly know but it looks victorian.
Some books on my shelf, a mini tree to get in the spirit! And cute plastic 90s butterfly hair clips.
Mac DeMarco hat (it doesn't say "Viceroy" or anything I just think it's something he'd wear) and a poster that I made, a few Christmas star lights BECAUSE THE HOLIDAY IS NEAR!
A blurry photo of my musical setup.
Close up.
Vintage text book in corner, pilgrim shoes to the bottom right, a map of France from the 60s, 2 punk patches from etsy.com, a vintage French poster from the 60s which is unrelated to the map idk how that happened, a vampire weekend poster because Ezra Koening is truly my god, and last but not least, a golden angel ornament from Dollar Tree.
Creepy doll face from etsy.com (from the 1940s)
Some collages I made using old teen vogues and rookie collage kits, a vintage lamp from a thrift shop, and an old lightbulb that adds spice to my room. It really lights everything up HA puns.
A vintage, used postcard from the 1950s and a glow in the dark star. The selfie was an accident but looking' good Alex.
Shadow play.

Early 00's Pink & Purple bike accessories are hand me downs from an old neighbor, there are gems from an old dress that I ripped up from a costume, a pink heart charm from an old hello kitty necklace from ages ago, a guitar pick that I found on the bus floor and kept because I thought it was a good memorial to 6th grade, a shell from my mom, a leaf pin from eh a thrift shop. An old mp3 player from like the 90s that I took from my mom. It's sitting on a blockbuster card. Seriously, a museum guys.

For some reason this picture is upside down and I can't turn it. Just call it art.
An article from "Teen Ink" and although I have been published, I don't have my poems displayed, I put up this story about love that made me lachrymose up on the side of my desk.

I have a plastic army man and a bug battling off in front of a 70s postcard of Hong Kong found at a thrift shop, a tube of messy lipstick, a campbell soup mug which was there because I was drinking cranberry juice OKAY I'M OLD (15 years), and a silver platter. I don't think it's actual silver because it was 4 dollas from a thrift shop but it's cute and holds my mascara.
Another close look at my outfit. The pictures are all out of order. I try.
An unused candle from a thrift shop, my flower crown and a sea glass crown from another earlier post. A collage done my me hanging up. I think everything else was explained earlier I don't know there's a ton of stuff here.
